‘Where from? Where now?’ exhibition announced! 14-18 November.

These last few months have been a whirlwind – editing the material from this project, alongside photofilm production and exhibition curation.

And all of this will culminate in a multimedia exhibition at gallery@oxo on London’s South Bank from 14th-18th November this year. It is a public exhibition, open daily from 14th-18th November. More information will follow nearer the time – so Watch This Space!

Maria, 25, walks through the subway at Elephant & Castle in London where she slept rough on her own before moving into a hostel. Her story will be part of Where from? Where now? at gallery@oxo in November 2012.

The exhibition will provide an insight into the lives of the homeless women I have met over the project, through their own words and through interviews with the people who work with them.  Through photography, words, audio and film the exhibition looks at the reasons that have led women to become homeless and how they are rebuilding their lives.
